The affordability of air travel has led to a significant growth in the air carrier industry, creating a huge demand for Aviation personnel. India has the potential to be among the global top three nations in terms of domestic and international passengers traffic. It has an ideal geographical location between the eastern and western hemisphere, a strong middle class of 30 crores Indian and a rapidly growing economy. Despite these advantages, the Indian aviation sector has not achieved the position it should have achieved and at present it is ranked 10th in the world in terms of numbers of passengers carried.
The government has proposed to promote the growth of Indian Aviation sector in a signification manner as the development of this sector has a multiplier effect on the economy.
In line with the vision, mission and objectives of National Civil Aviation Policy, 2016 of India , ATA has designed this program to follow National/International set of standards that is required by ICAO and DGCA.
